Melanie van Wassenhove
Graduated with a Master's in Physiotherapy from Haute École Léonard de Vinci -
Parnasse-ISEI in 2021, I then continued my training in osteopathy at the Belgian
College of Osteopathy, where I obtained my D.O.
I have always been particularly interested in health and the various ways to
preserve and improve it. For me, being healthy does not simply mean not being
ill; it is a global balance in which the body has the resources to adapt to daily
life.
This vision led me to osteopathy. I particularly appreciate its holistic approach,
which does not focus only on a pain or symptom but seeks to understand the
patient as a whole. The goal is to support the body toward better balance and to
promote its adaptation and self-regulation abilities.
I am also interested in nutrition and its role in maintaining good health.
My background in physiotherapy has allowed me to care for patients of all ages
with a wide range of conditions. Today, my osteopathic practice is open to
everyone, from newborns to older adults. I have a particular interest in visceral
and cranial approaches, pediatrics, perinatal care, and women's health, while
also treating common musculoskeletal issues, whether acute, chronic, or post-
traumatic.
